About the role

The Assistant Nurse Manager will oversee nursing care delivery in the ambulatory pediatric clinic at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, supporting a high‑volume outpatient environment with multiple specialty pods.

Key responsibilities

Manage nursing care for non‑hospitalized pediatric patients across general and subspecialty clinics.
Collaborate with liaison departments to maintain patient care standards using evidence‑based practice.
Participate in clinical research and support institutional research activities.
Analyze staffing needs, monitor productivity, and provide direction to meet operational goals.
Supervise, evaluate performance, and conduct hiring and termination processes.
Develop and implement quality, safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Assist with budget development, monitor expenses, and approve purchases.

Required profile

BSN and current state RN licensure.
Basic Life Support certification (AHA).
Minimum three years of clinical nursing experience.
Demonstrated leadership, management, and communication skills.
High degree of clinical expertise in pediatrics.
