Assistant Manager - Victoria Gardens, Hollister

About the role

Abercrombie & Fitch is hiring an Assistant Manager for its Hollister store in Victoria Gardens, Rancho Cucamonga. The role combines business strategy, operations, creativity and people management: driving sales through customer service, overseeing daily store operations, and leading the team from recruiting and training to engagement and development. It is built on a promote-from-within philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing routines and supervise the sales floor and stockroom
• Handle staffing, scheduling, payroll and train and develop non-management staff
• Drive sales with product knowledge and brand awareness, and build and maintain visual displays
• Analyse reporting to inform decisions, protect store assets and run inventory control
• Operate register and point-of-sale systems and fulfill omnichannel orders
• Represent the brand and embody company culture and values

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role
• Strong customer focus, knowledge of current fashion trends and a strong work ethic
• Communication, interpersonal and coaching skills, team building and initiative
• Ability to balance multiple tasks, stay detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment
