Assistant Manager - Tire and Auto Service

About the role

Monro, a family of automotive service and tire dealer brands, is hiring an Assistant Manager for its retail locations. The role supports the store's sales, service and guest relations, and includes some store manager functions depending on business needs. Hourly pay is $18.00 - $22.00.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule guest appointments so technicians can complete vehicle services and repairs efficiently and on time.
• Promote sales goals by recommending tire and service products and promotions, and handle sales, service, complaints and adjustments.
• Build guest relationships to increase satisfaction, loyalty and retention, and help technicians explain repair needs to guests.
• Maintain the store clean and ready for guests, and help with inventory management, including pulling tires and parts and stocking.
• Give direction and oversight to other technicians and organize the store workflow so technician skills are used efficiently.
• Follow company policies, government standards and OSHA safety requirements, and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent, and at least two years of retail experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Current valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle report.
• ASE certification and State Inspection License preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs, stand and walk for long periods, and bend, kneel and squat frequently.
