Assistant General Manager - Taco Bell, Big Spring, TX

About the role

Taco Bell is looking for an Assistant General Manager in Big Spring, Texas. The role supports the Restaurant General Manager by upholding brand standards and inspiring the team, leading by example through training, coaching and recognition. It involves taking charge of daily operations in the GM's absence, working a 50-hour week (40 hours at regular pay and 10 at time and a half).

Key responsibilities

• Model the MIC Success Routine and prioritize customer needs to ensure consistent customer satisfaction.
• Oversee team members' adherence to Shift Excellence responsibilities, maintain high food safety standards and uphold core excellence.
• Take charge of restaurant operations in the GM's absence and make key decisions.
• Collaborate with the GM on team performance assessments, give constructive feedback, and handle employee relations issues or escalate them when needed.
• Assist with sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and hiring team members, promoting equity, inclusion and belonging.
• Help manage profit and loss, including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance and labor management, and review financial reports.
• Support the GM with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are followed.

Required profile

• 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• Strong communication skills for performance appraisals, disciplinary action and training.
• Ability to follow corporate policies, procedures and occupational health and food safety standards.
