About the role
The Assistant Director of Admissions supports Miami Law’s nationwide student recruitment and enrollment goals. This position blends strategic planning, relationship building, and data‑driven decision‑making to attract prospective law students.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment and yield strategies to meet enrollment targets.
- Establish and maintain relationships with students, parents, high‑school counselors, and pre‑law advisors.
- Represent Miami Law at local, state, and national events, college fairs, and community organizations.
- Respond to prospective‑student inquiries through phone, email, and in‑person meetings.
- Host and coordinate on‑campus programs and scholarship interview sessions.
- Assist in the preliminary review of applications for all law programs.
- Compile, assess, and report student data, event outcomes, and market trends to senior leadership.
- Support diversity recruitment initiatives and outreach activities.
Required profile
- Willingness to travel regionally and nationally.
- Strong analytical abilities and sound judgment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to use data to guide outreach planning.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
