Assistant Community Manager – The Hudson

About the role

The Hudson community is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in day‑to‑day financial operations and resident services. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in property‑management accounting within a fast‑growing real‑estate platform.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare financial reports, process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate delinquencies, and enforce lease terms to protect revenue.
• Assist with eviction procedures, including notice requirements and court representation when needed.
• Manage move‑out processes: calculate deposits, apply fees, and ensure proper disposition of accounts.
• Set up new vendors and contractors, resolve invoice discrepancies, and issue payments.
• Generate various accounting, administrative, and analytical reports as required.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record‑keeping.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents and vendors.
• Ability to follow established policies and legal requirements related to leasing and evictions.
• Organized, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
