Assistant Community Manager for Parq 170

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Parq 170 community. This position handles accounting tasks, rent collection, invoicing, and resident relations to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite), enter transactions accurately, and maintain system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Process vendor invoices, obtain approvals, code charges, and coordinate payments.
• Assist with eviction procedures, move‑out processing, and resident satisfaction initiatives.
• Supervise on‑site activities in the Community Manager’s absence, including maintenance coordination.
• Support leasing and marketing efforts by greeting prospects, showing apartments, and handling applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 1‑3 years of experience in property or community management.
• Understanding of lease terms, collections, and eviction processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, OneSite, Entrata, etc.).
• Strong computer skills: internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
