Assistant Community Manager – Downtown Los Angeles

About the role
The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational performance of a residential community in downtown Los Angeles. This full‑time position handles day‑to‑day accounting, rent collection, and reporting to ensure smooth property operations.
Key responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions, including rent, fees, and other payments.
- Prepare monthly close‑out packages and financial reports.
- Enter and track invoices, issue payments, and manage vendor relationships.
- Perform bank deposits, account reconciliations, and cash dispositions.
- Utilize property management software to record, track, and report all financial activities.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of experience as an Assistant Community Manager.
- Knowledge of LACDA regulations and affordable housing programs is preferred.
Required skills
- Proficiency with property management software.
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping abilities.
- Experience preparing financial statements and reports.
- Ability to process invoices and manage rent collections.
