About the role

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Texas A&M University‑Corpus Christi seeks a non‑tenure‑track Assistant Clinical Professor of Nursing Education to begin as early as Spring 2027. This 9‑month faculty appointment involves on‑campus teaching, service, and curriculum implementation for BSN pre‑licensure programs.

Key responsibilities

Teach didactic and clinical nursing courses, including skills and simulation labs.
Provide student advising, mentorship, and support for clinical placement.
Participate in curriculum development, test writing, accreditation processes, and program assessment.
Engage in committee work, clinical site visits, and student remediation as needed.

Required profile

Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience.
Current, unencumbered RN or APRN license in Texas (or eligibility at hire).
If APRN, current board certification as an FNP from AANP or ANCC.

Required skills

Clinical nursing practice.
RN and/or APRN licensure.
Experience with classroom teaching and health‑care simulations.
