About the role

The College of Education and Human Development seeks a 9‑month, non‑tenure‑track Assistant Clinical Professor to join the Early Childhood Education program beginning Fall 2027. The role focuses on preparing future educators and advancing high‑quality early childhood practice through classroom teaching, mentorship, and field‑based supervision.

Key responsibilities

Deliver undergraduate coursework and supervise field experiences for preservice teachers.
Develop and maintain partnerships with schools, families, and community organizations.
Contribute to program development, service activities, and departmental initiatives.

Required profile

Earned Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field.
Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Early Childhood Education.
Strong record of teaching excellence and commitment to undergraduate student success.
Experience building school‑university collaborations and supporting diverse student populations.
