Assembly & Test Technician III

About the role

Moog is seeking an Assembly & Test (A&T) Technician III to join the Space and Defense Group team in Buffalo, NY. The position works the 3rd shift onsite in East Aurora, reporting to the Performance Leader.

Key responsibilities

• Perform water flow, pressure, leak, electrical, and flushing/cleanliness testing.
• Assemble cables, harnesses, crimp, solder, weld, and install connectors.
• Use portable instruments to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Operate gauges, transducers, flow meters, force systems, data acquisition and mechanical measuring tools, including torque wrenches.
• Read mechanical drawings and follow controlled documentation.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment in shop and laboratory environments.
• Lift or move up to 50 lb and work with protective eyewear and PPE as required.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to follow verbal, written and computer instructions in English.
• At least 3 years of relevant assembly and test experience.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Pass a full physical examination including blood work, pulmonary function testing and fit testing.
