Assembler III (ATO Breaker Assembly)

About the role

ABB is hiring an Assembler III (ATO) in Senatobia, reporting to the Production Unit Manager. The role supports the unit in reaching its production targets by following the established systems and processes, using machinery and equipment on the shop floor and reading technical diagrams and instructions for assembling products, systems and panels. The work is onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair breakers
• Understand how the product works and how accessories work with it
• Turn on and off all equipment and interpret tester data
• Follow the red-tag process at the end of each shift and record a tally of red-tagged breakers at the end of the day
• Assist in training operators and give feedback on quality issues on the line; support training of other employees
• Record production data issues daily and manage the defect tracker
• Perform housekeeping duties throughout the shift and at designated times
• Able to run all testing equipment and support the coordinator in keeping operations moving

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand, bend and walk for long periods during a shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Knowledge of all stations on the assembly line
• Flexibility to work overtime with little or no notice

• Basic computer skills and understanding of manufacturing operations
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and adapt to changing situations
• Detailed and team-oriented approach
