Area Supervisor

About the role
Join Ross, a leading off‑price retail chain, as an Area Supervisor. You will oversee a designated area of the store, ensure smooth daily operations, and act as Manager on Duty when needed.
Key responsibilities
- Open and close the store, managing all related procedures.
- Supervise associates, fostering a friendly and efficient shopping environment.
- Maintain merchandise presentation and keep the work area clean.
- Ensure safety and security on the sales floor, including monitoring EAS devices, cash office security, and emergency exits.
- Handle building security tasks such as entrance/exit control and daily trash removal.
- Respond to customer safety incidents, report accidents, and follow emergency procedures.
Required profile
- Strong awareness of safety priorities and ability to act quickly on unsafe conditions.
- Professional and courteous attitude toward customers, associates, and leadership.
- Ability to recognize and encourage associate performance through company programs.
- Reliability in executing operational processes and store policies.
