Area Manager – Traffic (Fashion, Grocery, Import)

About the role

The Area Manager – Traffic will oversee logistics operations for fashion, grocery and import categories across a regional footprint. You will lead teams, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive productivity while aligning with Walmart’s business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate goals and expectations to associates, suppliers and customers both verbally and in writing.
• Implement the business plan for the assigned area, managing staffing, scheduling and workload distribution.
• Monitor productivity by preparing, reviewing and analyzing business reports.
• Maintain quality and safety standards through training, compliance monitoring and documentation.
• Identify and resolve associate, customer or supplier concerns, recommending corrective actions as needed.
• Supervise, develop and evaluate associates and leaders, handling hiring, promotions, coaching and performance feedback.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills, able to influence and motivate teams.
• Proven ability to manage staffing, scheduling and workload coordination.
