Area Coordinator for Residential Curriculum and Student Leadership (Live-In)

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Monticello seeks an Area Coordinator to lead its Residential Curriculum and Student Leadership program. This live‑in position oversees the design, delivery, and assessment of learning experiences for students living on campus, fostering wellness, leadership, and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation and continuous assessment of the residential curriculum.
• Develop intentional learning outcomes aligned with student success and institutional priorities.
• Coordinate educational initiatives, maintain programming calendars, and prepare annual assessment reports.
• Supervise all Resident Assistants, managing recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings, provide coaching, and ensure professional development for the RA team.
• Collaborate with campus partners to expand educational opportunities for residential students.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, program assessment, or student affairs.
• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities, with experience managing a team of Resident Assistants.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse campus stakeholders.
