About the role
We are a nationwide commercial architecture firm seeking a motivated Architectural Project Associate to support retail design projects. This remote position offers the chance to work on all phases of construction documentation, permitting, and site coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in preparing construction drawings for bid, permit, and client review.
- Coordinate revisions and collaborate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and client vendors.
- Conduct code and permitting research, attend site surveys, and produce survey drawings and reports.
- Prepare responses to comments from external drawing reviews and develop design‑development presentation drawings.
- Support full set creation of construction documents, RFIs, punch‑lists, and city permit meetings.
Required profile
- Professional commercial experience, preferably in retail design.
- Professional degree in Architecture.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus.
- Basic experience with rendering software.
- Strong oral and written communication and customer‑service skills.
