Architectural Designer

About the role

An established, multidisciplinary architecture and design practice in New York is seeking an Architectural Designer to join its growing team. The studio has a diverse portfolio covering healthcare, education, commercial, retail and mixed-use projects, and offers the chance to contribute to projects from early design through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of architectural projects across a variety of sectors.
• Prepare architectural drawings, design presentations, 3D models and construction documentation.
• Work closely with senior architects, project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist with design development, detailing and technical coordination.
• Coordinate with consultants and help deliver projects successfully.
• Take part in design reviews, client presentations and project meetings.
• Help maintain high standards of design quality and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• Previous experience working within an architectural practice.
• Strong design sensibility with an understanding of construction and technical detailing.
• Experience across healthcare, education, commercial or other complex project types is advantageous.
• Strong communication, organisational and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working collaboratively while taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
