Architect

About the role

Faro Health is looking for a Platform Architect to design and build the core capabilities of its AI‑powered clinical‑trial optimization platform. You will work closely with internal engineering teams and business stakeholders, delivering reusable, high‑impact solutions that enable faster, smarter trial design.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design of large‑scale, cross‑team platform components, from ideation through release.
• Define and enforce non‑functional requirements such as performance, scalability, reliability, security, observability and cost.
• Translate architectural designs into incremental deliverables that engineering teams can ship without blockers.
• Conduct architectural reviews, critique designs, and guide feature teams toward alignment with the broader system.
• Evaluate build‑vs‑buy decisions and steer modernization initiatives across the organization.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering large‑scale platform solutions.
• Hands‑on coding ability to prototype designs and create reference implementations.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineering managers, product owners and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Ability to balance trade‑offs across teams and drive technical decisions that have company‑wide impact.
