About the role

Infosys is seeking a Data Engineer to join its Engineering unit in Richardson, Texas. The team focuses on a data‑first approach, leveraging AI, ML and predictive analytics to improve delivery processes and accelerate time‑to‑market.

Key responsibilities

• Document and contribute to business requirements during elicitation.
• Facilitate software design discussions and capture design decisions.
• Develop, code, and integrate new features while maintaining system stability.
• Perform code reviews, manage code repositories, and implement test strategies.
• Analyze test results, coordinate bug fixes, and ensure software quality.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive measures.
• Maintain detailed records of code changes, testing techniques, and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirements to implementation.
• Skill in translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Passion for design, hands‑on coding, and proactive testing.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams.
