Application Security Testing Manager

About the role

3M is seeking an Application Security Testing Manager to lead and evolve the security posture of its global software portfolio. You will partner with development, platform, and product teams to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of application security engineers and analysts.
• Define and maintain the application security testing strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
• Integrate security controls into SDLC and CI/CD pipelines across the organization.
• Oversee third‑party vendors, tooling, and testing engagements.
• Establish governance, standards, and metrics for testing programs.
• Manage SAST, DAST, SCA, and manual code review activities.
• Drive threat modeling, architecture reviews, and secure design practices.
• Collaborate on vulnerability remediation with development teams.
• Provide risk reporting, dashboards, and audit evidence to leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (completed before start date).
• Minimum five years of experience in application security or secure software development in private, public, government, or military environments.
