Application Developer

About the role

The Office of the District Attorney, Bronx County is seeking an experienced Application Developer to design, build, and maintain custom software solutions that support its mission of public safety and equal justice. This role will work closely with internal teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable applications in a fast‑moving government environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, and implement custom applications that streamline in‑house business processes.
• Perform hands‑on development of web applications and provide technical leadership as needed.
• Build full‑stack solutions in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, utilizing App Service, Active Directory, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Functions, Storage, and Oracle/SQL Server databases.
• Gather and document system requirements, following Agile or Waterfall SDLC methodologies to deliver code releases.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain existing systems to ensure continuous operation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) with at least two years of full‑time application development experience.
• Minimum five years of professional .NET software development, including web and/or client‑server projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
