Anti-Trafficking Caseworker

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Tucson is seeking an Anti‑Trafficking Caseworker to provide culturally appropriate, client‑centered case management for survivors of sex and labor trafficking. This full‑time position supports victims in navigating services, legal rights, and community resources while contributing to program development and data reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) and related regulations to guide service delivery.
• Build and maintain partnerships with local, state, and community agencies to identify and refer trafficking victims.
• Conduct eligibility screenings, complete enrollment paperwork, and develop individualized service plans.
• Provide comprehensive case management, including resource linkage, legal referrals, and advocacy for linguistically appropriate services.
• Maintain accurate case notes, manage case files, and track program activities.
• Collect and compile data, draft donor and agency reports, and support outreach and training initiatives.
• Coordinate services across multiple programs to ensure holistic client support.
• Participate in team meetings, staff development, and adhere to IRC policies and the IRC Way.

Required profile

• Understanding of TVPA, anti‑trafficking policies, and related legal frameworks.
• Experience building collaborative relationships with government, nonprofit, and community partners.
• Strong cultural competence and ability to deliver services in a trauma‑informed manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethical standards, and IRC’s mission.
