Animatics Assembler B – Assembly Technician

About the role

Moog is seeking an Animatics Assembler B to join its Murphy, NC facility. In this hands‑on position you will contribute to the production of SmartMotor products, working in a fast‑paced environment that values technical skill and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations and final touch‑up of SmartMotor products.
• Follow detailed work instructions for mechanical and electronic assembly.
• Program software/firmware onto SmartMotor units using a computer.
• Conduct testing and basic troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical issues.
• Utilize small hand tools and crimpers for mechanical assembly tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
• Demonstrated basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Mechanical aptitude with good hand dexterity and range of motion.
• Good eyesight to distinguish colors.
