Android Engineer Internship – Mobile Software (Fall 2026)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Android Engineer intern to join Tesla’s Mobile Applications Engineering team for the Fall 2026 term. You will contribute to the development of Tesla’s flagship mobile app, working on features such as smart summon, climate control, keyless entry, and sentry mode.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile user experiences for Android (and optionally iOS) platforms.
• Write clean, performant, and maintainable code, optimizing for stability and speed.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, UI/UX designers, QA, and other software engineers in a cross‑functional team.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, graduating 2026‑2027.
• Familiarity with Swift, Kotlin, or Typescript; Android development experience preferred.
• Experience with React or React Native is a plus.
• Strong grasp of core computer‑science concepts and ability to solve complex technical problems.
