Senior Engineering Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and scale our core engineering teams at Nectar Social. The role blends product mindset with technical leadership, overseeing high‑throughput systems that process large volumes of social data and power real‑time AI agents.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage, mentor, and grow software engineers and tech leads, conducting regular 1:1s and fostering an inclusive, high‑performance culture.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and senior engineering leadership to translate roadmaps into executable plans, manage capacity, and ensure predictable delivery.
• Oversee technical design, code quality, and architectural decisions for high‑volume real‑time data systems and AI‑driven workflows.
• Establish and refine agile processes, sprint planning, and operational metrics to drive delivery excellence and system reliability.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with customer success and sales to address customer pain points and align technical solutions with business goals.

• Proven experience managing software engineering teams in a fast‑moving, product‑focused environment.
• Strong product mindset with ability to translate business objectives into technical execution.
• Excellent people leadership skills, including mentorship, career development, and building inclusive teams.
