Android Developer – Kotlin/Java (5+ yrs) – New York

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our New York office. You will work on cutting‑edge mobile applications, delivering high‑quality native experiences for our users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Implement UI components following Google Material Design guidelines.
• Integrate payment gateways, Firebase services, Google Maps, and other Google APIs.
• Consume RESTful and SOAP APIs, ensuring robust networking and data persistence.
• Optimize app performance, manage multithreading, concurrency, and push notifications.
• Collaborate with version‑control tools (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket) and follow best coding practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Hands‑on experience with Android Jetpack, Room, SQLite, and GraphQL.
• Proven track record integrating payment gateways and third‑party services.
• Familiarity with Crashlytics, Firebase, and Google Maps related services.
