Android Developer

About the role

The Android Developer designs, builds, enhances, and maintains Android mobile applications that deliver seamless digital experiences. This role supports digital transformation initiatives by creating scalable, secure, and high‑performing mobile solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Android applications based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Review application designs and recommend improvements for usability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Integrate backend APIs and enterprise services into mobile applications.
• Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Conduct peer code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
• Support deployments, release management, architecture discussions, security reviews, and modernization initiatives.
• Analyze customer feedback and application usage to identify improvements.
• Mentor junior developers, share knowledge, and contribute to long‑term mobile platform strategy.
