Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer

About the role

Siepe is seeking a highly experienced Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer to own the support, administration, security, optimization and continuous improvement of its internal SaaS infrastructure and client‑facing cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Support and administer 20+ AWS tenant environments and ~400 EC2 instances hosting Siepe SaaS platforms and client infrastructure, primarily Windows‑based.
• Manage the full infrastructure lifecycle including deployments, upgrades, patching, backups, monitoring and decommissioning.
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory across multiple AWS tenants, handling GPOs, DNS, DHCP, DFS/DFSR, domain trusts and role‑based access.
• Configure secure client access using SAML2, SSO, Identity Providers, VPNs and related authentication technologies.
• Maintain security, availability and compliance, including vulnerability remediation and SOC 2 Type II audit support.
• Monitor infrastructure health and identify performance, reliability, security and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Support hybrid connectivity between AWS and corporate network using Meraki SD‑WAN.
• Automate deployments and operations with PowerShell, Terraform and AI tools, and track work in ConnectWise PSA.

Required profile

• Extensive experience supporting enterprise Windows infrastructure in AWS, including large‑scale EC2 environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, domain trusts, GPOs, DNS, DHCP and DFS/DFSR.
• Strong networking expertise (Layer 3 routing, firewalls, VPNs, SD‑WAN, Meraki).
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Windows application and web servers.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure security, vulnerability management, patching, backups and SOC 2 compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with PowerShell, Terraform and infrastructure automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex application, networking, authentication and infrastructure issues.
• Experience in an MSP or client‑facing environment; financial services background a plus.
