Analyst – Loan Asset Management

About the role

Greystar is seeking a motivated Analyst to join its Credit business and support loan asset management across its multifamily portfolio. The role will involve monitoring loan performance, coordinating with third‑party partners, and assisting senior asset managers in delivering risk‑adjusted returns.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior asset manager in tracking loan performance against underwriting, budgets, and covenants.
• Coordinate with servicers, borrowers, lenders, and construction consultants.
• Manage monthly draw review process and collaborate with portfolio management and accounting on funding.
• Monitor transitional and value‑add properties, conduct lease analysis, and perform renovation draw reviews.
• Conduct loan covenant testing and prepare quarterly asset updates.
• Draft credit committee memos for loan modifications.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to the expanding asset‑management platform.
• Participate in internal and external meetings with fund investors on credit performance.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of real‑estate experience, preferably in credit asset management, investment management, loan origination, or underwriting.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to evaluate loan performance and financial metrics.
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, or a related field.
