Analyst, Fixed Income and Alpha Strategies

About the role

The Analyst will support the Fixed Income team in managing the Foundation’s Fixed Income and Special Situations portfolios, which are part of a $10 billion multi‑asset portfolio aimed at a 5% real return. The role combines research, portfolio analysis, and operational duties in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor performance, exposures, and characteristics of existing investment strategies and assist in preparing investment memos and presentations.
• Evaluate prospective investment strategies, conduct due diligence on managers, and leverage AI‑enabled tools for research and analysis.
• Collect, analyze, and categorize portfolio data, support quarterly investment committee books, and produce quantitative analyses.
• Represent the Foundation in meetings with existing and prospective managers and attend conferences to maintain market intelligence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (finance or accounting coursework preferred); progress toward or completion of CFA designation preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant investment or finance experience with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines consistently.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
