Analyst, Dropship

About the role

The Analyst, Dropship drives process improvement and supplier engagement for the rapid assortment expansion of hd.com and the item troubleshooting that follows. The analyst keeps team projects on schedule, works with the Manager, Dropship and leadership to prioritize work and own deliverables, and builds day-to-day relationships with internal and external partners such as Direct Fulfillment Merchants, HD.com business partners and suppliers. The role is the main point of contact for a seamless supplier experience, managing supplier onboarding, troubleshooting and error resolution, and is accountable for strong customer service ratings.

Key responsibilities

• Attend merchant meetings and identify and facilitate OMS requests (10%).
• Own assortment growth projects, status reporting, item troubleshooting and attribute maintenance, acting as subject matter expert for product categories online (40%).
• Measure program effectiveness against metric targets and develop enhancements and process improvements based on performance and customer feedback (30%).
• Troubleshoot operational issues such as store SKU alignment and online product availability, and write clear end-user and training materials (20%).
• Monitor data transformation and work with technology teams to fix incorrect mappings, business rules and data deviations.

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; preferred background in customer service, vendor/supplier management and merchandising assortment.
• Preferred: proven track record of excellent customer service, experience in vendor/supplier management, and strong written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
• Data analysis and strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Understanding of merchandising assortment and product classifications, and of internal Home Depot store product systems.
