AI Solutions Engineer - ERP Systems

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to drive artificial‑intelligence innovation across its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) ecosystem. Working onsite in Richmond (with additional locations in Boston and Kansas), you will help transform HR, finance and procurement processes by integrating AI capabilities into leading ERP platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business challenges into AI‑driven solutions and technical designs.
• Deploy and configure native AI features (agents, assistants, automation) in Workday and SAP Ariba.
• Build custom AI applications, including intelligent agents and chat‑bots, leveraging generative AI and large language models.
• Define technical specifications and lead AI projects from concept through production, ensuring measurable ROI.
• Enable and manage Platform‑as‑a‑Service (PaaS) environments to support AI deployments.
• Develop deployment pipelines and engineering processes for cloud‑based AI services.
• Integrate platform services, security and governance with corporate cloud infrastructure.

Required profile

• Proven experience with cloud engineering and PaaS concepts.
• Hands‑on expertise deploying AI solutions within ERP systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams in a fully onsite setting.
