AI Intern – NLP & Generative AI

About the role

Join PRGX Global’s AI team in Atlanta as an AI Intern focusing on Natural Language Processing and Generative AI. You will work under the Director of Artificial Intelligence, applying cutting‑edge techniques to real business problems.

Key responsibilities

• Apply machine learning algorithms and statistical models to large datasets to uncover trends and insights.
• Design and implement end‑to‑end ML pipelines, from data preprocessing through model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business objectives into data‑driven solutions.
• Stay current with the latest AI research and communicate findings to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Current Master’s or PhD student in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
• Academic or industry experience applying NLP and AI techniques to complex data problems.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with NLP, machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
• Familiarity with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Version control using Git.
