AI & Data Solutions Engineer – Senior Leadership Role

About the role

Join Deloitte's AI & Engineering team to lead large‑scale data and AI initiatives for enterprise clients. As an Associate Vice President you will shape solution delivery, engage with senior executives, and drive business development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagement planning, budgeting, staffing and mobilization for data and AI projects.
• Define deliverable structures, manage quality, timelines, economics and engagement risk.
• Maintain day‑to‑day interactions with executive clients, securing buy‑in for proposed solutions.
• Drive business development through client relationship building, pursuit leadership and proposal development.
• Coach and develop practitioners, overseeing recruitment, retention and delivery team leadership.

Required profile

• 10+ years technology consulting experience delivering large‑scale data modernization, cloud analytics or data migration programs.
• 5+ years managing enterprise application portfolios and migrating on‑premises workloads to the cloud.
• 5+ years delivering solutions on at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• 5+ years leading complex technology engagements with distributed resources.
• 2+ years shaping executive‑level client conversations and contributing to the sales cycle.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science or related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

What we offer

• Compensation range $171,600 – $286,000 per year (visible).
