Advisor Consultant, Highland Capital Brokerage (Remote)

About the role

Osaic is seeking an Advisor Consultant for its Highland Capital Brokerage, a full-time remote position. The role sells annuity products to registered investment advisors, independent broker-dealers, registered representatives and independent agents and agencies, and recruits and trains new producers while also addressing advisor attrition and recurring producers.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit registered advisors and independent advisors to work with the Field Marketing Organization (FMO)
• Promote and facilitate fixed and fixed index annuity sales by advisors
• Recommend products that meet AG supervision and due diligence standards, with knowledge of SEC, FINRA and DOL compliance rules
• Train and educate advisors on the use of fixed and fixed index annuities
• Develop client profile strategies to help financial professionals identify and maximize sales opportunities using enterprise technologies
• Work with internal teams such as new business and marketing on case design reporting and carrier products and pricing
• Other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred; a high school diploma (or equivalent) with significant practical experience may be considered instead
• Life and health insurance license required
• 5+ years of brokerage new business or life insurance company experience
• 3+ years of relevant financial services industry experience
• Preferred: Series 6, 63 or Series 7 license

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer, including carrier and vendor websites
• Intermediate-level business writing skills
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills
• Able to learn new technology and work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

What we offer

• Expected first-year earnings of $50,000 to $150,000 in a draw, plus uncapped commission
