Advancement Manager

About the role

The Advancement Manager at United to Learn (U2L) supports the nonprofit’s mission by managing donor relationships, overseeing fundraising campaigns, and ensuring accurate reporting through the CRM system.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and maintain U2L’s CRM database (Salesforce), tracking constituent interactions, pledges, and payments.
• Manage annual fundraising campaigns such as the End‑of‑Year Appeal, Learning Launch, and North Texas Giving Day.
• Conduct prospect research and market analysis to identify new funding opportunities across foundations, corporations, and individual donors.
• Process gifts, reconcile revenue, and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support event planning, create online forms, and oversee production of campaign materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Strong commitment to public education and familiarity with Dallas ISD priorities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, adjust priorities, and work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
• Valid driver’s license, background check, vaccine compliance, and ability to lift up to 20 lb.

Required skills

• Advanced working knowledge of CRM databases, especially Salesforce.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Data analysis and storytelling using surveys, Google Forms, and related tools.
• Research skills for identifying potential investors.
