About the role
The Advanced Technology & Innovation Leader drives discovery and commercialization of emerging technologies to create the next generation of medical imaging solutions. Leading a small innovation team, you will collaborate with R&D, product management, clinical and business leaders to turn cutting‑edge ideas into market‑ready products.
Key responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of the Advanced Technology & Innovation roadmap, aligning initiatives with business and clinical priorities.
- Identify, evaluate and advance emerging technologies such as AI, advanced algorithms, biomedical optics and computational modeling.
- Provide technical leadership from concept through prototyping, algorithm development, system design and regulatory commercialization.
- Build, mentor and grow a multidisciplinary Advanced Technology team, fostering rapid experimentation and technical excellence.
- Partner with Intellectual Property teams to secure inventions and contribute to technology landscape assessments.
Required profile
- Extensive experience developing innovative medical device or imaging technologies and translating research into commercial products.
- Proven people‑leadership managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Deep expertise in AI/Machine Learning, Medical Imaging, Biomedical Optics, Advanced Algorithms or Computational Modeling.
- PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Optical Engineering, Applied Physics or related field (Master’s with significant industry experience considered).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical, clinical and business organizations.

- Competitive salary range $164,000 – $292,000 per year.
