Advanced Practice RN/PA – Pediatrics

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Pediatric Emergency Medicine team. This regular, full‑time position provides advanced clinical care to children presenting to the emergency department.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and treat pediatric patients in the emergency setting.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop care plans.
• Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests within scope of practice.
• Document patient care and contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Current APRN or PA license.
• Legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Full‑time regular position within the University of Arkansas System.
