Advanced Practice Provider – Psychiatric Care

About the role

Connections Wellness Group is seeking a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (either a PMHNP or Psychiatric PA) to deliver psychiatric care in its Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs. The position is PRN with potential to evolve into part‑time or full‑time based on caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe, titrate, and monitor psychotropic medications, providing patient education and documentation in the EHR.
• Co‑facilitate therapeutic group sessions using evidence‑based modalities such as CBT and DBT.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted Texas license as a PMHNP (board‑certified) or Physician Assistant with NCCPA certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in psychiatric medication management; experience with group facilitation and PHP/IOP settings preferred.
