Advanced Practice Provider Manager – Ohio Market

About the role

The Advanced Practice Provider Manager will lead the Ohio market for Cleveland Clinic AtWork, delivering occupational health services while balancing direct patient care with administrative leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care (approximately 60% clinical) while also managing administrative duties (approximately 40%).
• Lead clinical leadership, quality and compliance oversight for the Ohio market, including APP training, recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
• Audit clinical care, coding and billing, drive improvements and ensure consistent use of Epic workflows.
• Oversee patient and client experience initiatives in partnership with operations leadership.
• Standardize local team huddles and collaborate on customer acquisition and retention initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum three years experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with at least one year of supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Graduate of an A.R.C.–approved PA program or an accredited APRN program and hold a current state license with prescriptive authority (or eligibility within six months).
• Current Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support or Pediatric Advanced Life Support may be required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to coach, mentor and drive continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system and workflow optimization.
• Medical coding and billing knowledge, including charting compliance.
