Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – Military Aircraft Group

About the role
Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to help transition operations into its next‑generation Advanced Integrated Manufacturing (AIM) facility. The role focuses on applying cutting‑edge manufacturing technologies to improve production of military aircraft components.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, develop, test and implement advanced manufacturing technologies for Military Aircraft Group products and processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase throughput, enhance product quality, or reduce process variation.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to plan, execute, and report on projects from concept through production rollout.
- Interface with cross‑functional teams across Moog’s sites and divisions to align technology solutions with business needs.
- Gain deep knowledge of Moog’s products, designs, and customer requirements to prioritize high‑impact projects.
- Travel as needed to research, develop, test, and validate new manufacturing solutions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering).
- Experience working on multidisciplinary teams that include mechanical, electrical, robotics, controls, and software engineering.
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, cross‑functional environment.
- Willingness to travel for project activities.
