Advanced Analytics Consultant

About the role

The Advanced Analytics Consultant uses advanced analytics to uncover insights into member behavior, product concepts, operational efficiency, and health gaps. The role blends in‑office collaboration (1‑2 days per week) with remote work to support productivity and work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Consult business leaders and internal partners to apply analytical insights for product innovation, targeting the right members with the right services.
• Measure program outcomes, demonstrate value, and support strategic decision‑making for client retention.
• Develop and refine analysis templates, design tests/pilot programs, and create targeting criteria and predictive models.
• Lead applied research projects, author white papers, and present findings at industry conferences.

Required profile

• MS, MA, or PhD in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Epidemiology, Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in health care analytics, preferably in population health or palliative care.
• Experience developing evaluation methodologies to measure outcomes and ROI for health programs.

Required skills

• Advanced expertise with SAS and/or Python.
• Strong experience with Snowflake, SQL, or equivalent database tools.
• Ability to extract and transform data from multiple sources for outcome reporting.
