Adult Education Instructional Aide / Program Assistant

About the role

The Adult Education Instructional Aide/Program Assistant provides essential support to instructors and students at the NGTC Habersham campus. This part‑time position helps ensure smooth classroom operations and accurate assessment processes for adult learners.

Key responsibilities

• Administer placement and post‑testing, maintain secure testing records.
• Facilitate orientation sessions and assist new students with paperwork and technology setup.
• Answer phone inquiries, provide courteous assistance to students, staff, and visitors.
• Submit data, reports, and documentation to the main office promptly.
• Process requisitions, manage files, logs, and student records; support event planning.
• Order and inventory supplies and equipment.
• Prepare classroom materials, set up learning spaces, and support daily instruction.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential student information.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.
