Admissions Specialist II

About the role

The Admissions Specialist II supports undergraduate admissions processing at Texas A&M University‑Corpus Christi, handling application evaluation, transcript review, and communication with applicants and university staff.

Key responsibilities

• Process applications and admission decisions, review files and transcripts, and enter decisions in Banner and related systems.
• Provide primary customer service to prospective and current students, answering questions about admissions, residency, academic programs, transcripts, and financial aid.
• Maintain accurate records in Banner, CRM, and imaging systems and support special processing projects such as residency and international transcript evaluation.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree with two years related experience (or high school diploma/GED with four years experience, or Bachelor’s degree).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using student information systems such as Banner, CRM, Laserfiche, Argos, and TargetX.
