About the role
The State of Georgia is seeking a motivated Admissions Assistant to support daily operations at the Marietta Campus. This work‑study position is open exclusively to Chattahoochee Technical College students and offers a chance to gain hands‑on experience in higher‑education admissions.
Key responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and greet visitors in a professional manner.
- Accept and process admissions documents.
- Provide front‑desk assistance and direct inquiries to appropriate departments.
- Support student affairs events and assist with the Intensive English Program and ESL inquiries.
- Maintain confidentiality of student information.
Required profile
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
- Ability to work well with diverse populations.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
