About the role
The Administrative Secretary supports the Director and staff of the Civil Rights and Community Action Department, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations. This role is pivotal in keeping the department organized and efficient.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate schedules, arrange meetings and manage calendars for the Director and team.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and other departmental documents.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
- Process invoices, expense reports and track departmental expenditures.
- Assist with internal and external communications.
- Provide general administrative support to facilitate departmental initiatives.

- Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Professional demeanor with a high level of discretion.
- Capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
