About the role

Prairie View A&M University seeks a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Pharmacology courses for the Graduate Nursing Program during the Fall 2025 semester. This part‑time, non‑tenure position supports both classroom and clinical learning environments.

Key responsibilities

Demonstrate expert knowledge of pharmacology and related content.
Develop and deliver classroom and clinical learning activities.
Plan, implement, and evaluate course materials for assigned courses.
Collaborate with faculty coordinators to implement the curriculum.
Construct and administer examinations.
Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
Maintain regular communication with the FNP coordinator regarding student progress.

Required profile

Current Pharmacy Doctorate (PharmD) and active licensure in Texas.
PharmD earned from an accredited program.
Prior experience teaching pharmacology.
