About the role

Atlanta Technical College seeks a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Nurse Aide courses on a part‑time, per‑term basis. The role involves delivering curriculum in‑person on campus and in clinical settings, adapting teaching methods to adult learners.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and deliver daily instruction for Nurse Aide students both in classroom and clinical environments.
Maintain course gradebooks, develop and update curriculum, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
Advise, counsel, and support students, including recruitment and job placement assistance.
Coordinate clinical site schedules, manage paperwork, and travel to clinical locations for evaluations.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Active Georgia RN license.
At least one year of nursing experience.
Willingness to attend the Train‑the‑Trainer workshop.

Required skills

Proficiency with computers and job‑related software programs.
Knowledge of student information systems.
Ability to develop lesson outlines and instructional materials.
