About the role
The Technical College System of Georgia seeks a qualified welding professional to join the Jefferson County campus as an Adjunct Faculty member. This part‑time position involves delivering hands‑on welding instruction to students in the Trades & Industrial program.
Key responsibilities
- Provide instructional supervision and demonstrate proper welding techniques in classroom and lab settings.
- Prepare, administer, and grade assessments while maintaining accurate grade books and records.
- Follow the approved course syllabus and ensure compliance with current industry standards.
- Complete required reports, maintain inventory of equipment, and may travel to satellite locations as needed.
Required profile
- Welding diploma from an accredited technical college.
- Minimum three years of hands‑on welding experience in the field.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Possession of any professional credentials required for welding instruction.
