Adjunct Faculty – Teacher Education

About the role

Colorado Mountain College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach teacher‑education courses. The position focuses on delivering high‑quality classroom instruction, supporting student learning, and contributing to the college’s mission of inclusive education.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging courses using college resources, facilities and educational technologies.
• Facilitate student learning and provide academic support both inside and outside the classroom.
• Participate in scholarly activities, service projects, and community outreach as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records, grade assignments, and uphold college policies.

Required profile

• Credentialed or eligible to be credentialed to teach in the specific program.
• Minimum of a master’s degree in a related field or a master’s with at least 18 graduate credits in the discipline.
• At least one year of full‑time teaching experience (adjunct or equivalent); higher‑education experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of pedagogy and ability to work independently toward goals and deadlines.
